New Turtle Nest Discovered 2025
We are pleased to announce the discovery of a new sea turtle nest on the shores of The Lombok Lodge Villas this morning. Carefully identified and secured by our conservation team, this nest is expected to bring forth another generation of hatchlings in approximately 60 days.
This promising development highlights the continued importance of our coastal habitat as a safe haven for endangered marine life. We remain committed to safeguarding these nesting sites and look forward to sharing updates as we monitor the progress of this newly discovered nest.
The nest is believed to belong to a Hawksbill Sea Turtle, a critically endangered species known for its beautifully patterned shell and vital role in maintaining coral reef ecosystems.
This find underscores the growing impact of our protection efforts and the significance of Bagno Di Gili as a safe nesting ground. We will continue to monitor the nest closely and provide regular updates on its progress.
