The Very First Turtle Nest Discovery of 2026
I have very exciting owner’s news to share with you this morning! Last night, under the soft moonlight - from the 25th into the 26th - something truly magical happened on our Villa Estate beach in front of Villa Nam. Our beach guards discovered two hidden turtle nests in the sand and inside them: One with 115 and one with 103 little eggs.
Two turtles nests in one night. Very special, Indeed!
And that means over 200 tiny surprises are now safely resting beneath the warm sand, waiting quietly for their big moment.
In the coming weeks, if nature allows, something very special may happen right here on our shore.
I will keep you updated here… The adventure has just begun.

A Beautiful Turtle Nesting Season 2026
I have another exciting Turtle Gazette update to share with you this morning! Last night, under the peaceful sound of the waves, our beach guards discovered a brand-new turtle nest with 71 eggs. This time in the sand right in front of Villa Solas. A beautiful new surprise from nature, right on our beach. The eggs are now safely protected beneath the warm sand, quietly waiting for the moment the little turtles will make their journey into the sea. More updates soon.

First Hatchlings of Season 2026 recorded
Can you imagine that one of our three turtle nests chose to show its first sign of life on exactly 26 June? So special - because 26 June is also the day The Lombok Lodge welcomed its very first guest, 16 years ago. Such a wonderful coincidence on this special day. The very best gift from nature.
A total of 60 little turtles hatched - quite a number!
They are all doing great, and will now be cared for by our turtle rangers and their helpers for the next days, growing stronger before they make their way to the sea.
Welcome to our family, little ones, even if it's only for a short while.
